This page explains what data we collect on lesjardinsdelabriquette.fr, why, and what you can do about it. We’ve tried to keep it short and clear.
This site is run by Les Jardins de la Briquette, a regenerative farm and guinguette based at 1 rue de la Tuilerie, 68520 Burnhaupt-le-Haut, France.
Site address: https://lesjardinsdelabriquette.fr
Contact: [email protected]
When you write to us through the form on the “More info” page, we receive your first name, last name, email address, and message. We use this information only to reply. We don’t sell it, and we don’t share it with anyone.
Reservations go through Zenchef, a third-party service that handles restaurant booking. When you book a table, your details are processed by Zenchef so the reservation can work. Their privacy policy is here: https://www.zenchef.com/fr/legal-notice
If you accept “statistics” cookies through the consent banner, we use Google Analytics to track site traffic. The information collected (pages viewed, visit duration, device type, approximate country) is aggregated and anonymized, and only serves to help us understand how the site is used. Google processes this data as a data processor. Their privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
If you refuse statistics cookies, no data is sent to Google Analytics.
The server hosting the site keeps standard access logs (IP address, date, page visited) for technical and security reasons. These logs are deleted automatically after a few months.
When you arrive on the site, a banner asks which cookies you accept. Functional cookies are always active: they’re needed for the site to work, for example to remember your choice in the banner. Audience-measurement cookies are only switched on if you give consent. We don’t use marketing cookies at the moment.
Some pages display content from third-party services, including our Instagram feed and the Zenchef reservation widget. These services may collect data about your activity (cookies, interactions, identifiers) as if you’d visited their site directly, especially if you’re logged in to them. To understand what they do with that data:
Messages received via the contact form are kept as long as the conversation stays useful, then archived or deleted (in practice, no more than 3 years after the last exchange). Reservations are managed by Zenchef according to its own retention policies. Your choice in the cookie banner is remembered for 365 days.
GDPR gives you several rights over the data we hold about you:
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at [email protected]. We respond within the legal one-month window.
If you think we’ve handled your data poorly, you can file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: https://www.cnil.fr/en/plaintes (or with the data protection authority in your own country if you live elsewhere in the EU).
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. The version published on this page is always the one in force.
